In 2021, Reinier worked with me in a 350-person client delivery as a behaviour change expert. His wealth of knowledge and experience in change management and behaviour change brought a lot of critical insights and depth to the workshop discussions. He was able to engage meaningfully with participants of all ages and levels of seniority. It was a real pleasure working with him, and I would definitely jump at the opportunity again.

In April 2009 I was introduced to Reinier Starink and we started off with the development of a very interactive introduction programme for new PhD candidates from all over the world: PhD Start Up. Our cooperation was very fruitful because Reinier both challenged and inspired me to think outside the boundaries of the university and my own personality. We developed and organised an intense – and high quality introduction programme (three days) in cooperation with scientists and staff from within the TU. Furthermore in December 2009 Reinier organised a very effective two days Train-The-Trainer programme for the TU facilitators who will facilitate the PhD Start Up programme in the future. Personally I have learned and benefitted a lot of his authentic and professional way of teaching, facilitating and living

I have known Reinier Starink since 2006. Reinier worked with me as a network coach covering approximately 90 senior leaders in Shell Global Solutions. I was very happy with the standard of work which he delivered and personal commitment he displayed when doing his activities with me. Reinier is very enthusiastic and passionate about learning and people development. Reinier has become a great resource to me in areas of change management, organisational change, coaching and people development.

Reinier Starink has been involved with ISCTE generally and our MIM program specifically since year 2004 and has been teaching Communication skills and also has been involved with our International Projects program, subject to his availability, since 2005. Reinier has been a highly respected colleague of us, since he joined our program. His teaching style is characterised as being very participative with the students, continuously aiming at ‘’edgy’’ dialogues with the students in relation to the subject at hand. He always aims to connect what is discussed in the classroom to practices and experiences in daily life. The student feedback over the 15 years he has been with us, has consistently been very positive and among the best. Reinier is versatile in subjects such as leadership, communications and project management. Teaching comes very natural to him. We would recommend Reinier to any university globally in any teaching capacity be it part-time or full time.
